~The Bee Hive Ceramic & Craft Studio opened in Jan. 2009. Terrie & John Bednarczyk (also known fondly as "Mr. & Mrs. B") from Ransomville, NY are the owners, operators & instructors.
~We have 6 children & 5 wonderful grandchildren (Larissa, Jeremy, Justin, Blake, & Loralei) & one more grandchild due May 2012! We, also, are the proud "parents" of 3 dogs (Ripley, Bailey & Snickers) & 3 cats (Trapper & The Bee Hive cats, Beetrix & Colbee). Sadly, our dear dog, Chelsy, passed away in Oct. '09.
~Terrie works for the Town of Porter Story Hour, is a Mary Kay Consultant & babysits. John is a Captain with the Niagara Falls Air Force Base Fire Dept. & co-owner of Celtic Moon Fishing Charters. He is looking forward to retirement in Mar. 2012!
~The goal of The Bee Hive is to create an environment for children & adults to express themselves artistically...& to have FUN! We bring in local artists for special workshops in the "Lost Arts", such as leatherworking, quilting, basketweaving, & others. For ARTUNES, we like to promote local musical talent, another form of art.
~The Bee Hive holds fund raisers during the year, mainly during the many festivals Lewiston offers, to benefit Niagara Cerebral Palsy Autism & Aspergers Dept. We thank & bless everyone who has generously contributed!
